FOCUS is a modern online platform that helps companies to check the language skills of candidates and employees. The language audit is available in more than 30 languages and allows you to test five language skills: grammar and vocabulary, reading, writing and speaking.
With FOCUS, everything is done remotely – it only takes one minute to add access, after which the candidate receives a link and can take the test immediately, and completely remotely. The results, based on the CEFR scale (A1-C1), are available immediately after taking the test or within 24 to 48 hours: they are automatically sent in the form of a legible report, followed by recommendations for further training.

Tests on the FOCUS platform can be taken at any time and place that suits you. We recommend that you take them on your computer (using Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox), but you can also take them on mobile devices. If the speaking part of the test is online, please note that you will only be able to take it on a computer or mobile device running Android. You can find out how to take the speaking part on the instructions page of this section – if your device does not meet the requirements, you can close the test and open it on a computer or mobile device with the recommended browser and/or operating system.
What does an audit look like on the FOCUS platform?
Once access to the test has been generated, you will receive an e-mail with a link to the test and information about the technical requirements, the time needed to complete the test and the deadline.
By clicking on the test link, you will be redirected to your test page on the Focus platform. You will see instructions and guidance on how to take the test before you start, as well as the parts included in the audit section.

After the test, you will receive an automated e-mail confirming the completion of the test. If the company requesting the test has chosen to send the results report to you personally, you will also receive a message from the system within 48 hours containing the full report.
